A concept app that teaches several methods of non-verbal behaviors and perceptions within social groups. Through my studies of human kinesics and proxemics, I created a tool that makes us more observant of how we individually communicate and how that can shift based on different social scenarios.
I spent some of my time observing people in their natural environments. By organizing my research into five categories (distance, touch, gender, age, eye contact), I designed an interface that invites the user to reveal bits of information about a subject matter. In addition to a learning component, I began to add in a “game” function to collect user perceptions of the categories. This project resulted in an early prototype that was tested in Livecode.
